Founded in 1884 by Jakob Krautheim in Selb, Bavaria, K&A Krautheim (later Krautheim & Adelberg) began as a porcelain decorating studio and rose to prominence as a full-service manufacturer by the early 20th century. Known for their export-quality luxury dinnerware, Krautheim supplied fine china to homes and hotels throughout Europe and the United States.

The company thrived through the 1920s to 1950s, producing elegant, gilded, and floral porcelain. After changing market conditions and global manufacturing trends, production ceased in 1977. Today, K&A Krautheim pieces are treasured for their beauty, history, and craftsmanship.
